Kaka open to leaving Real Madrid

slime soccer news kaka to real madrid

This has come as a bit of a surprise really. There has been a lot of talk about players that Real Madrid along with Jose Mourinho would be bringing into the squad and now, the first player to be mentioned along with the possibility of leaving has also crept up and that player is none other than Kaka. I have got to be honest with you guys, Kaka was the last player on the whole of this Real Madrid squad that I expected to be related to a transfer this summer. I mean, the guy is a great player, he had a horrible season according to some people but in my opinion performed well whenever he played, certainly not bad enough to be considered as a fringe player at Real Madrid. Plus, the fact that Real Madrid spent something like 65 million on kaka, it would be a huge mistake to sell him for anything less than that. Kaka is reaching his peak years (yeah, peak years, because according to Zidane, 30 is the age when you are most balanced as a player, physically and technically) and Real Madrid … [Read more...]

3 Reasons why Real Madrid will win La Liga next season

Jose Mourinho has won League titles in 3 different countries namely Portugal (with Porto), England (with Chelsea) and Italy (Inter Milan) and you would not bet against him doing it next season with Real Madrid too as he would have THE ONE MOST IMPORTANT THING HE HAD IN ALL HIS CLUBS save for porto and that is RESOURCES. Plenty of resources to built a squad that he would want in his dreams and to be fair, that is a justifiable demand. Real Madrid spent 250 million for Pelligrini so might as well give Mourinho somewhere near that amount and get all the trophies instead of scoring 96 points in La Liga and still win nothing. Here are my reasons why Real Madrid would win La Liga next season: We have Mourinho. The guy has not lost a home game in 8 years and knows how to survive in tough leagues. Heknowshow to slay giants and the giant he is going to have to take down is obviously Barcelona which should not be that hard as Real Madrid beat Barcelona 2 seasons ago at the Camp Nou with a … [Read more...]

Real Madrid Player Profile: Iker Casillas

iker-casillas-25

Full Name:Iker Casillas Fernández Height: 5 ft 111/2 in Weight: 79.00kg Age:29 Position: Goalkeeper Preferred foot: Left Strengths: Agility Quick reflexes anticipation jump Weaknesses: Not great at dealing with air balls Could have a better throw Could also improve his shooting accuracy Matches played for Real Madrid: 518 Goals scored: 0 Notes: What can I say about Iker Casillas, he is Real Madrid's home grown Galacticos. With a buyout clause of over 100 million, he is perhaps the best goalkeeper seen of the last decade. I cannot count the numberoftimes, he alone (unusual for a goalkeeper) saves Real Madrid each season by making unbelievable saves and what else can't I count is the number of times pundits have said that Casillas is worth atleast 20 to 25 points to Real Madrid per season. Many clubs have come and tried to sign this playerbut … [Read more...]

5 things Real Madrid should consider with Mourinho

Jos--Mourinho-after-Inter-006

Jose Mourinho is all but set to sign for Real Madrid after he negotiates his contract termination with Inter Milan and there has been a lot of talk about his role at Real Madrid and how would he revolutionize this Real Madrid team into a treble winning side thus returning Real Madrid to the pinnacle of European football which many believe lost quite a few years ago. Real Madrid have tried and tested people from all over the globe and now have had to come to the best in order to be the best. Mourinho is the best there is no question about it. Though Bojan Krkic thinks otherwise, but Mourinho is the best. Yes, Guardiola won 6 titles in a single year with Barcelona but one must consider the fact that he had in his side, probably the greatest player of all time in Lionel Messi, the greatest striker of the last decade in Henry. The current best striker in the world Samuel Eto'o and a midfield trio of Xavi, Iniesta and Toure who are also amongst the best in the world. Barcelona's back … [Read more...]

Real Madrid vs Inter Milan: Van Der Vaart vs Sneijder

The Dutch Boys

Since it is the transfer season, as expected I have been obsessed about the possible recruitments that Real Madrid would make this season since Perez is around, you can be sure that at least ONE galactico will be signed every season. The players I have chosen today for my VS series belong to the dutch clan. Van Der Vaart who plays for Real Madrid and Sneijder who used to play for Real Madrid and sensationally is being linked to Real Madrid again as he tries to follow his mentor (Jose Mourinho) back to the Bernabeu. Both are extremely talented players and have been an integral part of Netherland National team since they stepped onto the scene. Real Madrid got Van Der Vaart on the cheap by signing him for 13 million euros from Hamburg 2 years ago and Sneijder was bought for around 40 million euros the previous year but was sold last year which I related to in my previous post as a big mistake as he was just starting to develop into a world class midfielder which he showed by being an … [Read more...]

Real Madrid vs Liverpool: Kaka vs Gerrard

Who is better (Even though they are both very different type of players)

Well, if reports are to be believed then Jose Mourinho will be the new Real Madrid coach within the next 48 hours and the media has already drawn up a list of players that THE SPECIAL ONE would want in his squad at the Bernabeu to win them the league and the Champions League title which has not come Real Madrid's way in almost 8 years. Almost every player has been linked with Real Madrid. Some of those are: Goalkeepers: Julio Cesar Defenders: Ashley cole, Gael Clichy, Maicon, Midfielders: Lampard, Gerrard, Sneijder, David Silva Strikers: Drogba, Milito, Fernando Torres,Dzeko I don't know but sometimes these media people put some really crap stuff on paper. I mean, come on, how many players are we talking about here? 11 or 12 I think. Mourinho is not going to have 2 teams, one for La Liga and one for Champions League, so what is the point in linking Real Madrid with that many players and where does Julio Cesar comes from?. Casillas is the best goal keeper in the last … [Read more...]

Real Madrid vs Inter Milan: Manuel Pelligrini vs Jose Mourinho

Mourinho did the treble for Inter on Saturday night

Ok, onto my "ONE OF THE FAVORITE" sections. Today it's all about the masterminds behind these big multi million dollar football clubs successes, coach vs coach, Pelligrini vs Jose Mourinho. I do not think that there is anything to this argument (you could argue as to why am I then writing this post in the first place) Jose Mourinho is clearly the best coach in the world by quite some margin though his teams do not play the kind of football that Barcelona plays and the kind of football that Madrid fans like to see Real Madrid play and you should NEVER underestimate the influence of Real Madrid fans because it is the fans at Real Madrid who decide which coach stays and which coach goes not the amount of trophies a coach wins Real Madrid. If you do not believe me, look at what happened to Fabio Capello. The guy has been sacked by Real Madrid twice in two seasons, both times he won the league for Real Madrid by beating the likes of Barcelona and Valencia and both times fans complained … [Read more...]

Season Over For Real Madrid

Messi wins the title for Barcelona with 47 goals for the season

Ok, the season is over but the hype up for the next season is just about to roll. Real Madrid barely lost the league title 2 weeks ago when Barcelona won their game comprehensively while Real Madrid drew theirs to find themselves two points short of Barcelona and thus the Blaugrana were crowned the Champions of Spain. There were a couple of things that hurt me about the Barcelona win. One was obviously that Barcelona ended up having 99 points and Real Madrid 96 in think, which is unbelievable, if you are still going to get to second place by scoring 96 then hats off to the number 1 in my opinion. Anyway, the second thing that hurt me about Barcelona win was that Messi scored twice and thus ended up with 47 goals which is just insane. Why do I give a damn? I give a damn because that is EXACTLY the amount of goals Ronaldo (the big Ronaldo) who is ofcourse one of the greatest strikers of all time scored in his first and only season with Barcelona but Ronaldo gets a little edge as … [Read more...]

El Clasico showed that offside rule sucks

As many of my readers know that I get straight to the point without any INTRODUCTORY paragraphs and the point I want to get to quickly is that the El Clasico showed why the offside rule sucks and how much Barcelona suck when they used it cleverly against Real Madrid despite being the HEX CHAMPS. Look at Messi's goal a little more closely when the pass was made by Xavi to, supposedly, Messi both Alves and Pedro were offside. Now I know many of the Barcelona fans would say that they were non active while Messi who touched the ball was active. That is exactly where the offside rule sucks. I am sure atleast 50 percent of the people who watch soccer would not be able to answer the question of when an offside is an offside? Is the offside instant taken to be the one when the pass is made or when the pass is received ( I know the answer but I am just saying that this rule stinks). Even a more difficult question would be, what the heck does ACTIVE and NON ACTIVE player means? As far as I am … [Read more...]
