Sergio Ramos is happy with the progress Real Madrid has made this season and is eagerly awaiting the start of the next season hoping to break Barcelona dominance on world football. Which is obviously not an easy task by any means.

The obvious reason for this much optimism is that for the first time in years Real Madrid have been perfect in their preseason tour. Real Madrid has beaten the likes of LA Galaxy, Chivas Guadalajara, Philadelphia Union, Hertha Berlin and Leicester City which is quite satisfying as these are not easy sides to play against.

Ramos is also delighted to see the new signings fitting into the squad so well. Here is what he said:

“The pre-season has been just perfect for us so far. We have been playing quite well and the new signings are adapting without problems,” Ramos was quoted as saying on the club’s official website.

“Everything is going according to plan and we’re looking forward to the first official game. It is important to keep winning friendlies to further boost morale. We are all very excited ahead of the new La Liga campaign.”

Obviously the real test for Real Madrid is going to be on August 14 when Real Madrid faces Barcelona for the Supercopa title.

Valencia officials have admitted that they are in talks with Real Madrid to sign Canales who certainly has got no future at Real Madrid. In any case, Valencia first should make sure that their star player Juan Mata (another Real Madrid youth product) does not leave the club while their attentions are on signing Canales.

Another player who is almost certain to leave Real Madrid is Fernando Gago. Gago’s representatives are in advanced talks with Boca Juniors in order to secure a move to Argentina. Gago was a key player at Real Madrid before getting injured and hence sidelined to bench. That has seen him move further and further away from Mourinho’s plans and the player has now finally decided to leave Real Madrid.
