This is going to be short and sweet. Finally Marcelo can call himself Spanish. Yes people, Marcelo has been given the Spanish passport and will no longer hold a slot up as a Non EU player playing for Real Madrid. Doesn’t really benefit Real Madrid in any significant way, but I ll take it I think.
Real Madrid is only allowed to have 3 Non EU players on the squad. Marceloa was one and now only Gago and Di Maria are left as Non EU players. Marcelo obviously was delighted to receive his passport. He said he always wanted to be in Spain.
As Marcelo tries to further settle down in Spain, Diarra is getting ready to pack his bags up to leave Spain. The Frenchy did not show up for training and that indicates that there is no way in hell Mourinho is going to keep him now.
Diarras has got no place in Real Madrid at the moment. Mourinho prefers a host of players over him so it is understandable that he is leaving Real Madrid and what better way to silence all doubts about his future at Real Madrid.
