Mohamed Sissoko To Real Madrid?

destiny Mohamed Sissoko To Real Madrid?

Now this is something that does not happen that often. Real Madrid are interested in a player and as it turns out, he does not want to come to Real Madrid.

That player is Mohamed Sissoko. Real Madrid have been reported to be interested in his services but he has refused to be linked to another club saying that he is a Juventus player at the moment.

If Mourinho does not want Diarra to be in his plans then I think Mohamed Sissoko would be a perfect replacement. Sissoko is strong, tall, big and powerful. He can romp anyone in the midfield with his giant strides and his huge structure.

But here is the catch. He had a knee injury last season so he could not play that much. You know with these knee injuries, they never really go away. Especially if you are as big as Mohamed Sissoko is.

In the end, I think it would be a good swap on the condition that it is a direct swap. I would not like to pay a single penny for a Diarra Sissoko swap or even Diarra Melo swap.  Both of these Juventus players are no where near as established in the midfield as Lass is.

The only reason why Mourinho does not believe in Lass is because of the good performances put in by Khedira and Xabi Alonso. Mourinho probably wants a player who he can bench for most the season. Like a back up player. I do not think Lass is ready to play that role even it is at Real Madrid.

Here is what Mohamed Sissoko said about being courted by none other than Real Madrid:

“All I know about it is from the press. It makes me happy that a club like Real Madrid want me,” Sissoko told Marca in an interview.

“It’s fantastic, but I still have two years on my contract at Juventus, a club I have great respect for; I’m flattered by the interest from Madrid, but I’m a Juventus player.”

If he comes to Real Madrid then he would link up with his former teammate Xabi Alonso. Sissoko and Alonso both played for Liverpool before they moved on to their respective current clubs.

“It was a special time,” he said. “Playing with Xabi is simple because he’s a great player. I played really well alongside him and we had a good relationship in the dressing room – he’s a great person.”
