Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini thinks that the in-demand Javier Pastore would be best suited to Real Madrid if he finally decides to leave Palermo to some other big club in Europe.
The reasons he has cited are:
- Real Madrid need him more than any of the other Elite Clubs
- Jose Mourinho likes Pastore a lot
- Real Madrid are in the most advanced position amongst all other clubs in terms of negotiations with Palermo
As if we did not have enough midfielders already?. I tell you what, either Mourinho is planning on selling Granero, Kaka, Lass, Pedro Leon along with some others players, or these rumors make no sense at all. Mourinho has virtually a complete squad as far as attacking side goes.
Why would he want to buy another midfielder. Atletico Madrid has already said that Aguero will not be sold to Real Madrid according to some pact that exists between the two clubs. The pacts states that the two clubs will not be aggressive towards each other by signing each other players. Whatever that means.
Pastore is not a Kaka, he is not a Robinho and he certainly is not a Messi or Ronaldo. Ok, may I went too ahead there. He may very well be a new Kaka. His strengths are his dribbling and pace. He doesn’t have a huge physique. He likes to dribble a lot. His favorite dribble is probably the one where he skips past a defender by dribbling the ball between the defender’s wide open legs.
That is one move I have seen him try and pull off countless times in Serie A. Apart from that, the kid has a good head on his shoulders given that he is only 19 years old. He would have been a good buy if it were not for his price tag. 50 million is just pure crap for this player. He is too young for that.
Same goes for Neymar. No way he is worth 45 million euroes. Neymar is a kind of player that Real Madrid needs by the way. I think he is a mixture between Robinho and Messi. Can do anything this lad. He is fast, light, tall and likes to dribble a lot. He is two footed too and most of all he is a Brazillian, which translates to (in the language known as football) GOALS!!!.
Pastore will not come to Real Madrid. Mourinho is just to clever for that to happen. What do you think? Do we need another striker? May be another midfielder? Or heck, do we need any player at all this summer?
