News has it that Sergio Aguero wants to leave Atletico Madrid. Not only does he wants to leave his boyhood team, but he wants to leave for none other than Real Madrid.
Real Madrid of course are sworn enemies of Atletico Madrid and a deal is going to be very unlikely. In the past Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid have transferred players from one club to the other but I think this time, it will not happen.
There are many reasons for that and one of those could be the shear amount of big clubs after Aguero. Barcelona, Chelsea and Milan among many others are all looking to sign Aguero. Why would he then choose Real Madrid over all these other big clubs and in the process upset Atletico Madrid fans.
I do not think that he will do it. Plus, the fact that he knows that he will have limited playing time at Real Madrid. His price tag is another issue I think will push Real Madrid away from signing him. I think Real Madrid has enough strength of strikers already, Callejon has also arrived.
Mourinho does not really like Aguero type of forwards. He mostly likes, pure pace players or people who can hold up the ball. Aguero is a little bit in between the two extremes and I do not think Mourinho will be looking to sign his kind of a player, at least for this season.
Real Madrid has Benzema so I do not really see the need to splash another 50 million for Aguero when there is already so much depth of attacking players at Real Madrid. Do not forget that Higuain is still pretty young and he is pretty damn good. He will be wanting to have first team action next season as well.
What do you guys think? You think we need Aguero? Or do you think that Real Madrid should just make up with a player like Terry or Gerrard. HALA MADRID!!!
