Kaka is still one of the top 5 in the world
Alot is being said about Kaka being past his best days and that he can no longer sustain the demands of elite European football, some people even suggesting that kaka is considering going back to Sao Paulo play for his boyhood club.
Whatever you say, I do not think Kaka should be sold. He has not been given enough opportunities and there many other reasons why I think he should not be sold at all amongst which 3 are mentioned below:
- Well first is pretty obvious. Kaka has not had a decent run of first team action in matches since he has come to Real Madrid as injuries have hampered his involvement with the new Real Madrid setup. Selling him now would be stupid as we would not be able to get the price we payed for kaka just 2 years ago. Not even close to that I can say for sure. Kaka has shown that he can be the best player in the world once again, in the games that he has made his comebacks.
- He is still one of the best attacking midfielders in the world and I would rank him alongside Xavi if not above him as Kaka can contribute to the team in many more ways than Xavi can even on his best days. One of them is goal scoring ability. Kaka is a heaven above Xavi in that respect while Kaka can also produce the quality of touch and pass that Xavi is known for, Xavi cannot do the same. Kaka can run a lot faster than him which enables Kaka to create more chances rather than just play it safe with 100 short passes like Xavi does
- He is still a big name in football and if nothing else. It would keep the fans coming back to see more of Real Madrid. There are not a lot of places on earth where you can find players such as Marcelo, Oezil, Ronaldo, Kaka and Benzema playing on the same field and I think the economic benefits that the brand of kaka brings cannot be left unnoticed.
