Holy Smokes, Robinho to Manchester City Not Chelsea.

I think This is the Biggest transfer so far, as far as big name is concerned. I know Deco and Ronaldinho also have moved but this is just shocking. Robinho to Manchester City?.. Come again…. Manchester City not Manchester United. Ooo Stupid Robinho, what were you thinking.

Chelsea initially were the main chasers for Robinho but as it turns out, Robinho has moved to Manchester City. The new takeover at Manchester City by a Abu Dhabi company did state that their mission was to make Manchester City the biggest club in EPL and I think they have hit the nail on its head by signing Robinho.

This is just amazing. Although I do think, Chelsea would sign Robinho next season from Manchester City. But there is now a huge problem at Real Madrid. We do not have enough attacking firepower. I ll be surprised if Real Madrid win anything this season. We really needed a striker and a winger and now that Robinho is gone, Robben is the main stay for Real Madrid and he cannot be relied upon as he is prone to long injuries.

The 24-year-old finished the season happy with the Spanish champions, but became unsettled when murmurs in the press emerged that he could be used as a makeweight in Madrid’s pursuit of Manchester United ace Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, as that move collapsed, Robinho remained open to leaving Madrid, despite their best efforts to keep the player. Coach Bernd Schuster is thought to have always wanted the former Santos star to stay at the club, but higher-ups within the club were willing to let him leave if Cristiano Ronaldo were to arrive.

Chelsea have pursued Robinho very much in the same manner that Madrid chased Ronaldo earlier in the summer, and despite Madrid’s disappointment with the Blues’ behaviour, the player himself has remained adamant that he wants to leave the club, even arranging a press conference on Sunday to push fora moveto Chelsea.

Real Madrid have remained adamant that no players would be leaving or arriving in the remaining days of the transfer window, atleast that is what Calderon said and I was relieved that Robinho was not leaving but now it seems that everything that Calderon says is just pure lie and he just tries to calm down potential dangerous situations.

Anyway, I think Robinho did not stay at Real Madrid beause of the money because as far as I can recall, Robinho said that he wanted to leave Real Madrid to become the best player in the world and one thing is for sure that Robinh will not become the best player in the world at Manchester City. Anyway, I wish him luck as now I will also watch Manchester City’s matches as I think Robinh would add a lot flare to Epl and show all englishmen how this beautiful game was meant to be played.

Manchester City, who were taken over by Abu Dhabi Group for Development and Investment today, now have even moremoneythantheydidunderThaksinShinawatra,
