Van Der Vaart, still awaiting his move to Real Madrid
Ok, Guys first of, its Van Der Vaart whos getting all the Real Madrid headlines these few days and looks like the deal is done and dusted as Sneijder’s injury has prompted Real Madrid to get Van Der Vaart as soon as possible as to aviod any disruption in Schuster’s plans for the start of the season which is always crucial in winning the league.
But Martin Jol believes that the situation regarding Van Der Vaart still has not changed and he is still counting on Van Der Vaart for Hamburg.
Jol left Van der Vaart out of yesterday’s friendly victory over Juventus, but admits Hamburg are still waiting on Real to make an improved offer.
“The situation of Van der Vaart has not changed. This is the same as a couple of days ago. It would have been ridiculous to make him play as things stand, so we’re going to wait two more days to see what happens,” said Jol.
“Anyway , I still have confidence that he will ultimately stay with us.”
Anyway, other news say that Real Madrid has struck an agreement with Hamburg for Van Der Vaart just hours after what Jol said in his interview. So who to believe? that I leave up to you guys because I just think Jol said that because he wanted Real Madrid to know that Hamburg want Van Der Vaart and do not NEED to sell him and that would automatically lead Real Madrid to pay more for him in order to convince Hamburg to sell their prized asset.
Bild says last night the two clubs reached agreement over a £9 million fee for the Dutch midfielder in London.
Van der Vaart plans to say his official goodbyes to Hamburg teammates at noon today and will put pen to paper on a five-year contract with Real tomorrow.
He will thus become the fifth Dutch player on the playing staff of Real Madrid, which already has Ruud van Nistelrooy, Arjen Robben, Wesley Sneijder and Royston Drenthe. And who did Schuster play for as an International? no wait, that was Germany not Halland because the way Schuster is bringing in Dutch player one after the other , gives the impression that he might be a Dutch player too or may be he just admired Dutch players a lot.

Wesley Sneijder is facing at least three months out after suffering a knee injury against Arsenal yesterday.
Sneijder suffered the injury in a clash with Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby and I seriously do not know what that 6 foot 3 giant bafoon was thinking when he made that tackle, he deserves some racist remarks but I am going to refrain from it, still I think it was a friendly and there was absolutely no need for a dumb, stupid, senseless, ill-advised, imprudent, thoughtless and not to mention futile attempt to win the ball.

Real doctor Juan Carlos Hernandez admitted he faces “three to six months” on the sidelines.
Scans today on Sneijder will determine the extent of the injury, which Hernandez confirmed includes ligament damage.
Real coach Bernd Schuster said after the 1-0 defeat: “Sneijder is not right and we are all scared by the injury. It’s a very difficult moment, he’s in great pain.”
It is a big loss, make no mistake about it. I think Real Madrid was really counting on Sneijder to get Real Madrid off to a good start with his playmaking abilities. Anyway, We should always hope for the best and plan for the worst and I think that plan is now to sign Van Der Vaart and sign a striker instead of C.Ronaldo.
