Van Nistelrooy, Ronaldo and Real Madrid
Ruud: Real Madrid players fed-up with Ronaldo rumours
Guess what, another Real Madrid player is upset with the constant speculation over a deal for Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo and that Real Madrid player is Van Nistelrooy, who played with C.Ronaldo when Van Nistelrooy played for Manchester United but then Van Nistelrooy had a spat with Ferguson over no being played enough and left Manchester United after the season 2005-2006 ended.
“It got a bit too far maybe, it is such an issue at the moment in Spain. It gets a bit over the top,” Van Nistelrooy told BBC Radio 5 Live’s Sportsweek programme.
“A couple of our players, they made the comment that there was only talk about him and not about the current team and stars, and everybody’s waiting for the next rumour without anything concrete.”
Asked whether he expected Ronaldo to stay at Old Trafford for the forthcoming campaign, the Dutchman added: “I think so, if you hear the statements from United. It doesn’t really sound like they’ll let him go.”
Real Madrid’s Van Nistelrooy laughs off Arsenal boos
I saw that match (Real Madrid vs Hamburg at the Emirates Stadium) and man didn’t the emirates stadium gave Van Nistelrooy a stick for what Van Nistelrooy had done to Arsenal for many seasons while playing from Manchester United. Van Nistelrooy got booed for most of the game and that really showed how much these rivalries mean in England.
In Spain, unless a player moves to a rival club directly (not like Ronaldo.Ronaldo moved from Barcelona to Inter Milan and then moved From Inter Milan to Real Madrid, then from Real Madrid to AC Milan) he is never booed like that. I mean Ok, Van Nistelrooy WAS in Manchester United and now he is in Real Madrid, so I am going to tell Arsenal fans to get over it and stop this, as I write this , I am watching Arsenal Vs Real Madrid and Arsenal fans are doing the same to Heinze as well, now that is bad and stupid.
After the match Van Nistelrooy looked as if he did not take it seriously.
The Dutch ace smiled: “The rivalry in England is incredible. A Manchester United-Arsenal game can be almost as big as a Madrid-Barcelona match. This is why the fans here are more involved.”
Man Utd’s Ronaldo to demand Madrid move
OK, guys, yet another episode in this Ronaldo saga, now the news say that Ronaldo will demand Manchester United his move to Real Madrid.
The word is that Ronaldo will now try to force Manchester United, by meeting Sir Alex Ferguson, the manager, and David Gill, the chief executive, to insist he be allowed to move to the Bernabeu.
Manchester United are just not co-operating with Ronaldo
I think it has something to do with that Perez (former Real Madrid president, known for his shrewdness and his marketing skills) thing that he did with Barcelona’s Figo, reports say that Calderon has done something similar to Ronaldo.
Perez forced Figo’s agent (somehow) to sign a pre-agreement to join Real Madrid and in that agreement it was written that either Figo would move to Real Madrid or pay 30 million euros or go to jail.
Figo being a WISE GUY, chose to join Real Madrid which is really a very bad and evil on Perez’s part and now I have heard that Calderon has a similar pre contract with Ronaldo as well so may be that is why Ronaldo now wants to move to Real Madrid so bad and also, may be that is the reason that Manchester United are not realeasing Ronaldo because Manchester United want Ronaldo to suffer for his treachery with the Red Devils.
Anyway, Ronaldo was in Lisbon but is due to fly to Amsterdam to meet the surgeon who operated on his ankle, before flying to Manchester on Tuesday.
Ronaldo has told Madrid about his intentions in an attempt to appease their frustration at his lack of agitation for a move away from Old Trafford. Real will offer £68 million but need him to force United into the sale.
