Sneijder: Van der Vaart wants Real Madrid move

Real Madrid midfielder Wesley Sneijder has revealed Holland teammate Rafael van der Vaart wants to join him at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Asked about Real’s interest in the Hamburg midfielder, Sneijder told AS: ” I can say that Rafael is a great footballer. I played four seasons with him at Ajax and also many games with the Dutch national team. We have always been together in the centre of the field “
“He wants to play for Real Madrid, but does not know yet whether it will be possible to do so this season.”
My Thoughts
This transfer season just keeps getting better and better, first Calderon said no new signings so why is Sneijder allowed to make such comments. Man what is going on out there. Seems like everyone at Real Madrid has their own opinion of how they see the transfer market and what Real Madrid should do.
Ofcourse Van Der Vaart wants the move done, who does not want to play for Real Madrid. Yeah no one but Wayne Rooney I think. I think Sneijder wants a reunion as well, may be it will help Sneijder to further improve his game when playing alongside his countrymen Van Der Vaart. One more thing, from now on I am going to call Van Der Vaart as VDN, because his name is quite long for my liking and I do not like to type alot.
