Schuster wants more attacking options
Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster wants a deal for Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano. Marca says Schuster has concerns over his attack and has asked his board to make a striker signing before the start of the new season.

Ok, so Bernd Schuster realizes that Real Madrid are running short of time in the transfer market and while Ronaldo thinks over his decision, Real Madrid must act fast and sign a emergency striker because Raul and Van Nistelrooy will not be able to play every game so to rest them frequently throughout the season he must have a back up signing.
A striker would be play the odd game and still be content with it, thats why Schuster has not demanded Huntelaar or Benzema yet because they could cause problems in the dressing room because of their high profile and may not take bench roles too lightly.
Schuster wants a humble quite striker who would just do his job when required and that calls for Fabiano. But the problem is that Sevilla is asking a wopping 30 million euros for him which is like a lot, Real Madrid might as well sign Huntelaar for that much money but Schuster also wants a striker who has already played in Spain and knows how to score goals here.
Fabiano had a excellent previous season scored like 30 odd goals in total, 25 odd goals in the league where he was not always starting games for Sevilla. I gotta tell ya, Sevilla is making some big money this summer, with the sale of Daniel Alves they have made a lot of money.
Poulsen is also set for Juventus which could pour in even more money. I do not like Fabiano very much specially becasue of the price tag he has. I think, if Real Madrid do need a back up striker than Martins of Newcastle would be perfect though I do not know if he will accept such a role.
