Specialist confirms Ronaldo needs operation

Ronaldo, is going under a surgery
Cristiano Ronaldo could miss the start of the English Premier League season after a specialist yesterday confirmed the Portuguese winger needs surgery on his injured ankle.
The 2008 player of the year is expected to be out for six weeks and will be pushed to make the August 16 kick-off.
Ronaldo, 23, has yet to meet United manager Sir Alex Ferguson since declaring his desire to move to Real Madrid during the recent Euro 2008 competition.
My Thoughts
Ok, so this is now confirmed by ‘The Specialist’ that Ronaldo does need a surgery over his right ankle. Hmm, interesting to note that it is his right foot with which Cristiano Ronaldo takes all his free kicks with an awkward technique in which his body jerks a lot and his transfer of body weight is also not smooth like Thierry Henry, Zidane or Ronaldinho.
Remember, Beckham also had this problem because of his awkward technique in taking the free kicks. Yes he was fairly smooth in his run up and weight transfer stuff but he bent his back a little more than someone who takes free kicks by the book or you might call it rules. I believe there are no rules and regulations to football, you play like you want to play, nothing else matters.
Anyway, this means that Ronaldo will not be available for pre-season and start of the next season. Now Real Madrid can really have a go at Ronaldo and try to sign him as soon as possible because I think if Ferguson gets in contact with Ronaldo, he would hypnotise him or something with his usual emotional speeches.
The affect this injury would have on Ronaldo’s career, though by no means this is a serious injury which can affect somebodies career but I am just supposing. Even if it does affect Ronaldo’s game, I think Real Madrid are ready to take this chance and make lots of money from his international image.
