Robinho To Break Madrid Contract?
Robinho To Break Madrid Contract?
News

Robinho says “whats wrong with you all, i am better than or can be better than ronaldo”
The Brazilian star, who moved to the Spanish capital club from Santos in 2005, still has two years left in his contract with the Merengues.
However, Robinho is understood to be unhappy at Santiago Bernabéu ever since Real Madrid considered him for a player-plus-clash deal for Manchester United’s in-demand Cristiano Ronaldo.
And Robinho, who is being courted by Chelsea new boss, Luiz Felipe Scolari, may well terminate his contract with Real Madrid without just clause under the Webster ruling.
According to Article 17 of FIFA’s transfer regulations, any player who signs a deal when aged under 28 is able to unilaterally break that contract after just three years.
Marca believes that, should Robinho terminate his contract with Real Madrid, a compensation of just €10 million will have to be paid to the club.
Earlier this summer, FC Porto midfielder Paulo Assunção decided to break his contract with the Portuguese Champions and he is now on the verge of completing a move to Atletico Madrid.
My Thoughts

Seems like Robinho wants to leave regradless of whether Real Madrid sign C.Ronaldo. I think Real Madrid have not done justice to Robinho, its partly Robinho’s fault too, he should have performed at least one season like C.Ronaldo did for the past two seasons if he wanted to be ranked among the top ranked players.
The frustrating thing is that Robinho has all the qualities to surpass C.Ronaldo or any other player, the only player I can think of who can match his potential and has probably a bit more is L.Messi. I think if Robinho trains properly, only he can be a threat to Barcelona’s Lionel Messi as I think Messi is going to remain the best player in the world for a long long time.
It is very hard to see Robinho staying at Real Madrid, well as much as I am sad for this loss I think it for the better too. Rea Madrid would get recoupe some of the money back and Robinho can continue to grow as a footballer at Chelsea or Manchester United.

Robinho, is also excited about Epl, may be he wants to know what its like working week in week out
Plus, I love Robinho and his footballing skills so much that I think I am going to become a fan of which ever club he joins. I want him to join Manchester United, first because that would smooth down some tense relations that Real Madrid and Manchester United have developed over the past month.
Second, I want him to grow as a player, at Manchester United under Ferguson, no one is guaranteed a place which would mean Robinho would have to work hard in order to play in the first 11. However if he joins Chelsea, which is likely, this would be mean that Scholari rates Robinho very highly, as he has seen him play for Santos.
At Santos, my word Robinho was a legend already. Anyway, I think at Chelsea there is a system of star players, where the coach tends to line up the biggest star power 11 not the best playing 11. Whichever club it is, I think at least he would have more chances than here at Real Madrid.
I wish him luck and want to thank him for giving Real Madrid some good moments and plenty of bad, incosistent performances.HALA MADRID.
