Man Utd’s Ronaldo must take pay-cut for Madrid move
News
Ronaldo wont be happy when he hears this, chance of of collapsing move( I think so)
Real Madrid want Cristiano Ronaldo to take a PAY-CUT on his Manchester United wages to seal a move to
The Daily Star says in a sensational twist in their attempts to lure the Portuguese winger, the Spanish giants are only preparing to offer him a £5.5m-a-season deal.
The contract would leave Ronaldo around £1.5m out of pocket if he leaves Old Trafford. Club sources claim the player will not be bothered by the pay cut because his commercial earnings away from football will rocket after he signs for them.
However, it’s a massive step down from original suggestions that they would offer him £10m a year.
Club captain Raul is understood to have it written into his contract that no-one at the club can be paid more than him.
So Ronaldo would join World Cup-winning
My Thoughts
Why does Raul come into every decision that Real Madrid take. Ok, he is a legend and a long serving soldier for Real Madrid but that does not or should not mean Real Madrid bowing to him and asking for his permission on every matter.
First I heard of that number 7 news, that Raul is not prepared to give it to C.Ronaldo, apparently C.Ronaldo loves the number 7 jersey and wants to open a brand by the name of CR7. Ok that makes some sense on part of Raul but sticking his nose in the salary thing is not so convincing.

C.Ronaldo is a world class player (one of the best in the world), he deserves to get paid more
I do not care even if Raul is Di Stefano, if C.Ronaldo deserves to get that pay (which he does not) then he should get that much pay from Real Madrid. Raul is currently the king of Real Madrid but to intervene in board decisions is way beyond or should be beyond his role in the club.
Nobody is bigger than the club and that also stands for Raul as well, I love him though.

Ronaldo, might think over his decision to move to Madrid, AGAIN
Anyway, this is another turn around in the Ronaldo saga, first I read that Real Madrid are prepared to offering him around 300,000 pounds a week and now he has to take a pay cut in order to move to Madrid, that is strange. Anyway, if Ronaldo does move for a pay cut then I would say, that he has some respect and love for Real Madrid by leaving Manchester United and that he is not just interested in the money alone.
