Man Utd’s Nani: Ronaldo wants Real Madrid move

Nani expects Manchester United and Portugal teammate Cristiano Ronaldo to make the move to Real Madrid.

“The loss of Cristiano Ronaldo will be bad news for United. In the Portugal camp, Cristiano advised us that his decision was clear and that now he will try new challenges,” said Nani.

My Thoughts

Hmm, I think we all have heard enough through other sources or should I say other more credible sources. Maybe Nani just wants to show that he is also a professional footballer who has the right to give his views about current affairs (which I do not criticize).

What I mean to say is that Nani’s statement does not add to the already jumbled up Ronaldo saga, his statement is too general and does not reveal anything new from which some conclusion may be drawn. Well, it does rather confirm Ronaldo’s already confirmed exit from Manchester United.

Just to add some more content, I think Manchester United are counting on Nani to replace Ronaldo and try to perform at the levels he did for the past two seasons. Easier said than done though. May be thats the reason Manchester United are not so keen on the straight 100 million cash deal, rather Manchester United want player or players plus cash.
