Ronaldo agent delivers Real Madrid offer to Man Utd
Ok, I got some good news and I got some bad news, which do you want to know first.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent is in England for talks with Manchester United( which is supposed to be the good news).
The Sun says Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes flew into Manchester yesterday and will tell United that Madrid are willing to offer £45million plus £20m-rated Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder in return for the Portuguese ace.
United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has already told senior pros that Ronaldo is going absolutely nowhere.
A United source said: “Everyone at the club knows where the manager stands on this.
“He has been saying very strongly that Ronaldo will not be sold.”
I cannot believe this is happening, Sneijder is a far more mature player than Cristiano, and probably can continue performing for more years than Cristiano as he is not so pace dependent like Cristiano. I do not know what Real Madrid are trying to achieve.
I hope this is a false news, as Manchester United will be the one who get the best out of this deal, Sneijder is a fantastic creative midfielder who can play anywhere in the opponents half.
I think if Real Madrid do sell him than Real Madrid would have to buy him back after a couple of years for another 100 million bucks because this guy has greatness written all over him given that he continues to work hard and Real Madrid are making a big mistake by including him in the deal.
He has just turned 24, he has at least 10 years left in him, and his best days are way ahead of him, Real Madrid should sell someone like Guti or at the worse Robinho.
As I mentioned before I do not think Real Madrid is the right club for Robinho at this age, he needs to play in a team which has a coach like Jose Mourinho, who can teach him to play hard and never give up. At Real Madrid, he is too soft and naive.
Anyways, now I am really praying that Cristiano deal does not go through, seriously I am. First I thought, it was just a joke that Manchester United want Wesley Sneijder. Look at Cristiano and Wesley’s Euro performances, Cristiano has not performed in big matches in his entire career so far, Wesley has in many, Italy and France being the recent ones.
