Reports say that C.Ronaldo is tired of Manchester United’s stubborn attitude towards Real Madrid, who are trying to sign him by paying a record fee in the region 100 million euros. C.Ronaldo has already made his mind up about where he wants to play next season and has made no secret to Manchester United that he wants to leave Old Trafford to wear the famous white jersey.
I am ready to see another Ronaldo come to Real Madrid
I think for once, I might as well favor and advocate this decision of Ronaldo as now I see the real reason why Real Madrid want to sign the super star. May be this decision of Ronaldo was made up in his mind way back when that World Cup 2007 incident happened in the match against England where he, allegedly forced the referee into giving Wayne Rooney a red card which tipped the match in favor of Portugal.
Maybe that is the motivation which made C.Ronaldo work so hard these two seasons to get to the top where it was Manchester United who needed his support rather than him needing Manchester United’s support when he needed it the most after that incident where the whole of England wanted him out of Manchester United.
Maybe Ronaldo has not forgotten what happened to him after the World Cup
Manchester United also put him for sale because of that but nobody wanted to buy Mr. Winker at that time. Ferguson last week said that there is no way that he would allow C.Ronaldo leave for Real Madrid and that he would gladly send Ronaldo to the reserves where he would rot for the remainder of his contract( or season ofcourse) as a punishment.
Well, we all know that Ferguson won’t do that as it would be “not so beneficial” to both C.Ronaldo and Manchester United who have depended so much on C.Ronaldo for the past two seasons for some reason(maybe his goals). This week however, Ferguson has made another comment which adds another tail to this already interesting saga of Ronaldo and Real Madrid.
Ferguson, upon hearing that Real Madrid are dealing directly with the Glazer’s family about a possible transfer said in his interview that if Manchester United do sell C.Ronaldo then that would also be the end of his reign as a Manchester United manager. Wow, now that a big call, I hope he keeps his word because I think there is only one place Ronaldo wants to go and that is to Madrid.
Or maybe all this is really a Real Madrid tactic in trying to unsettle the dazzling destroyer that is C.Ronaldo into leaving Old Trafford but who knows. Maybe these are all rumors(which they are at the moment) and C.Ronaldo does want to play in Spain but not with Real Madrid(Barcelona in the picture too) and maybe C.Ronaldo actually does not want to leave right now but maybe in the future.
Real Madrid want C.Ronaldo whatever the price
I am going to choose the first case, as I think C.Ronaldo has that World Cup incident in the back of his mind and maybe this is the ideal opportunity for him to sort of betray Manchester United for what Manchester United and the whole of England did to him after the World Cup 2007.
I remember reading one of C.Ronaldo’s interviews where he said that his future lie somewhere else, in Spain, or may be Italy but one thing is for sure and that is it is not in England. He probably said this because he thought Real Madrid and co would come flying for him but nobody wanted him at that time and later he changed his comments to “I’ll see what happens but I want to stay here and play for Manchester United”.
It is uncertain of where exactly Ronaldo will be playing next season. The rumour mill is spinning wildly out of control over his future but it seems as if Calderon will have to fight hard for the winger as Manchester United are not willing to succumb to Calderon’s tactics.

I think in the end it is going to be Ronaldo finally ending up at Real Madrid as Ronaldo may buy out the remainder of his contract and refuse to show up at training ground for pre-season matches, whatever he chooses to do , one thing is for sure that Manchester United will not let go of him easy.

Ronaldo has said that he would do anything it takes to make sure that he plays for Real Madrid next season but right now he is totally focused on the Euro’s. Whatever is the case, Real Madrid are all ready to line up the first 100 million euro man whether Manchester United give the knot and dont. Ronaldo also has expressed his frustrations about Ferguson trying to boss him around and that he wants to be the master of his own future. So he hasnt answered Ferguson’s phonecalls and neither wants to talk to him.

One more interesting fact that could change Ronaldo’s mind in my opinion would be how much Real Madrid is willing to pay him in the contract and whether Manchester United can match that, remember, Ronaldo has a marketing contract with Nike and if he moves to a Adidas sponsored club then that would mean a reduction in what he would make at Manchester United from Nike.
This point could prove to fatal and one thing more to be considered is that the No.7 at Real Madrid is not vacant, nor will it be vacant any time soon, unless and until somebody shoots Raul and he dies or retires atleast. Ronaldo has made his ambitions after football that he want to open a hotel by the name of CR7 and that this tag will and is his brand now. If he moves to Real Madrid, he will have to rethink on this future plans as well.
Ronaldo certainly has a huge fan following(he is marketing brand)
I am keeping my fingers crossed and hope that Robinho is involved in the deal as well, as it would be good for both Robinho and Real Madrid. I am a huge fan of Robinho and to which ever club he moves, I will always support him and the club he decided to play for whether that be Manchester United or Chelsea as I think at Real Madrid his chances are already limited and with the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo, he will move further down the pecking order.
