Real Madrid Interested In C.Ronaldo
Real Madrid Interested In C.Ronaldo
I have been reading lots of news on the internet about Real Madrid Interest in signing Manchester United star winger Cristiano Ronaldo. As you all know Ronaldo has been firing on all cylinders since that bust up with Wayne Rooney in the World Cup which has really hiked up his market value. He is now definitely one of the best player in the world if not the best right now. Yeah, I know Kaka has been awarded with the Fifa World Player Of The Year title but still i think Ronaldo can beat him in the next one. With that said I am not sure if he can beat Messi of Barcelona.

Talking about Real Madrid being interested in Crisitiano Ronaldo, I think it depends on two conditions whether Real Madrid should buy Ronaldo or not. One would be the price for which Mancheter United would sell him and the other whom would Real Madrid offload in order to play Ronaldo in the current team assuming Real Madrid does sign Cristiano Ronaldo. If, as I’ve read in many articles, Manchester United are adamant on selling him for no less than 40 million pounds then I think Real Madrid should step down and just bear with the current squad for a season or two and I do know that Real Madrid have the financial power to make any signing at any cost but still common sense should always prevail in these matters.

As far as his place is concerned, Real Madrid would have to sell at least two players from the current line up, one would be Arjen Robben and the other would be for me Soldado or Saviola. Anyway, if Ronaldo does leave Manchester United at the end of the current season then as a Real Madrid fan I would definitely be skeptical about Ronaldo’s commitment to Real Madrid as well if he does decides to dump Manchester United for Real Madrid as he is enjoying his best form since he started playing at United and there seems to be no problem with the coach or any other player.
The point that I am trying to emphasize on here is that if Ronaldo can leave one of the biggest clubs in Europe while he is happy then there is no guarantee if he wouldn’t jump the ship at Real Madrid if time comes when he becomes an essential part of Real Madrid. So judging by Cristiano Ronaldo’s interviews and the personality he has become in the media I can say one thing for sure that he is not a Maldini or Raul, players who would remain loyal to one club all their career if the club treats them well. So I think if Manchester United sell Ronaldo for anything less than 30 million pounds then Real Madrid should buy him and get rid of Robben as he never gets fit to play it seems. But paying 40 or 50 million pounds for a player seems ridiculous and Real Madrid in this case should opt for Ricardo Quaresma of Fc Porto or Diego of Werder Bremen which would cost a lot less than breaking a bank for a single showboating flamboyant wing player.
